Enable the EnablePointOfSale and UseCashRegisters system preferences, and set up at least one cash register (Administration > Cash registers) for the logged-in library. 2. Log in to the staff interface, click "More" in the top navigation, then "Point of sale". 3. Confirm the sidebar (Point of sale, Transaction history, Cash summary, and, with the right permissions, Configure cash registers / Configure items for purchase) now shows an icon next to each link. 4. Collapse the sidebar and confirm it shrinks to an icon-only rail with tooltips on hover and the current page still highlighted.
