Bug ID: 43775
Summary: Koha/SuggestionEngine.pm uses incorrect bitwise OR
Initiative type: ---

status:
Product: Koha
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: NEW
Severity: minor
Priority: P5 - low
Component: Searching

Target Milestone: ---
Do you ever see the following in your plack-error.log file?
Use of strings with code points over 0xFF as arguments to bitwise or (|)
operator is not allowed at /usr/share/koha/lib/Koha/SuggestionEngine.pm line
153.
Well, that's because we're using the wrong operator in the following line:
$suggestions{ $suggestion->{'search'} }->{'label'} |=
$suggestion->{'label'};
I suspect the author meant to use ||= but accidentally added |=.
Looks like it was added by Jared in 2012. I'm surprised he'd make a typo like
that, but we all make mistakes...
