--- Comment #18 from David Cook <[email protected]> --- (In reply to David Cook from comment #16) > Comparing the Elasticsearch vs the Zebra backends for > Koha::Z3950Responder... there might already be some honouring of OPAC > business logic... this needs review... Nope... when using Elasticsearch and z3950_responder.pl plus OpacSuppression, it still shows the record... and that's because build_query_compat() takes a suppress argument. Also an is_opac argument... although that's just for OPAC specific indexes for ES... OpacHiddenItems in Koha/SearchEngine/Elasticsearch/Search.pm is based off C4::Context->interface being 'opac' which is problematic in this context... And then we don't apply MARC Bibliographic Frameworks via the ViewPolicy RecordProcessor filter because that's applied by C4::Search::searchResults() which does many many things that we wouldn't need... -- I suppose the difficulty with z3950_responder.pl is how do we instruct it to apply this "OPAC" logic to some requests but not others... I suppose we could pass an --opac flag with the koha-z3950-responder command... or something like that... some thought to go into there. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. _______________________________________________ Koha-bugs mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] website : http://www.koha-community.org/ git : http://git.koha-community.org/ bugs : http://bugs.koha-community.org/
