We have a search to place hold for function, but it is limited to specifically
clicking the search to hold button.
could we utilize whatever we use for maintaining the last patron list and allow
placing holds from either the last patron or someone in that list? Would it be
a good candidate to replace the search to hold button? If you are on the
patron page, that patron should be in that list (if you are using it). It
would also allow us to use that functionality from ANY hold placing place
(items, bibs, search results, carts, lists, etc.) rather than just one specific
workflow.
