It does not change any existing row. The counter log rows written before this patch have no report type and no period, so the data providers summary skips every month harvested before the upgrade. Re-harvests before Bug 42217 also left duplicated rows in erm_usage_mus, which double the yearly totals. The script misc/maintenance/erm_migrate_counter_data.pl, added by the next patch, fixes both. The atomicupdate ends with a message that names it, so the upgrade does not have to read every stored counter file. Test plan: 1. On a database from before this patch, run updatedatabase: the columns, the index and the foreign key are added, and a message tells you to run misc/maintenance/erm_migrate_counter_data.pl 2.
