Both need updating to reflect polling as the new default. 2) The code fallbacks still assume the old default when the preference has no value: - misc/workers/background_jobs_worker.pl, where $notification_method is set - Koha/BackgroundJob.pm, in the connect method Both use C4::Context->preference('JobsNotificationMethod') // 'STOMP', which should now fall back to 'polling'. 3) Tomás' comment 8 is still open.
