--- Comment #4 from Jonathan Druart <[email protected]> --- Created attachment 210826 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=210826&action=edit Bug 44001: (bug 38185 follow-up) Fix inconsistent DataTables column widths Since bug 38185 tables are built using the 'layout' option, which wraps the table in div.dt-layout-row.dt-layout-table > div.dt-layout-cell. DataTables' CSS rule "div.dt-container div.dt-layout-table > div { display: block }" is less specific than "div.dt-container div.dt-layout-row div.dt-layout-cell { display: flex }", so the cell holding the table is a flex container. The temporary table used by autoWidth to calculate the column widths is then shrunk to its content, and the resulting column widths depend on the length of the longest strings, leading to very wide or very narrow columns. This patch forces the table cell to display as block, restoring the previous behaviour. Test plan: 1. Go to Administration > System preferences > Acquisitions 2. Notice that the widths of the Preference and Value columns are inconsistent between the different sections 3. Apply this patch and rebuild the CSS (yarn css:build) 4. Reload the page => The column widths are consistent again, as in 26.05 5. Check some other tables (e.g. Administration > Libraries) and confirm they still display correctly Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5.5 <[email protected]> -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. _______________________________________________ Koha-bugs mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] website : http://www.koha-community.org/ git : http://git.koha-community.org/ bugs : http://bugs.koha-community.org/
