Create a custom debit type 1.1. Go to Administration > Debit types 1.2. Click New debit type 1.3. Fill out the form : - Debit type code : BAG - Default amount : 5.00 - Description : Reusable fabric bag - Can be manually invoiced : yes 1.4. Click "Save" 2. Create a custom description for Midway 2.1. Go to Tools > Notices and slips 2.2. Click New notice > Debit description (custom) 2.3. Fill out the form : - Library : Midway - Code : BAG - Name : Description for reusable fabric bag 2.4. Click "Email" 2.5. Fill out the form : - HTML message : no - Message subject : Description for reusable fabric bag - Message body : Reusable fabric bag. All proceeds go to the local animal shelter. 2.6. Click "Save" 3. Log into Midway 3.1. Click "koha Centerville" in the top right corner of the screen and choose "Set library" 3.2. Choose "Midway" 3.3. Click "Submit" 4. Add a manual invoice to a Midway patron 4.1. Go to Patrons and search for Edna Acosta 4.2. Click Accounting > Create manual invoice 4.3. Choose Type = Reusable fabric bag 4.4. Click "Save" --> Under "Description of charges" the description is only the debit type description, not the custom description set in step 2 5. Create a custom description for all libraries with a different message 5.1. Go to Tools > Notices and slips 5.2. Click New notice > Debit description (custom) 5.3. Fill out the form : - Library : All libraries - Code : BAG - Name : Description for reusable fabric bag 5.4. Click "Email" 5.5. Fill out the form : - HTML message : no - Message subject : Description for reusable fabric bag - Message body : Reusable fabric bag. All proceeds go to the food bank. 5.6. Click "Save" 6.
