some clarifications/thoughts
 • the infrastructure that currently runs lists.katipo.co.nz goes away at the
end of this month (March) - both the server and IP number
 • lists.katipo.co.nz has only one mailing list on it (the original Koha users
list)
 • the Koha list has 1024 members, archives and attachments sum to about 600MB.
I have no expectation that I'll add any additional lists to lists.k.c.n in the
future - from my pov it exists solely to support Koha. So another option could
be to move lists.k.c.n into https://www.mailmanlists.net - that would mean the
list address wouldn't change, so it would be largely transparent to the members.

Whether we move the lists.k.c.n domain as-is, or export the member list and
archives into a new list, I don't really mind either way - I'm happy to support
either approach. However, if the current lists.koha-community.org
infrastructure is so crusty that you don't want to create a new list on it,
then I suggest that moving lists.k.c.n to mailmanlists.net is a better approach
- since we can do that relatively quickly without user interruption, it meets
my end-of-month deadline, and it avoids forcing an urgent task (migrating
lists.koha-community.org) on Biblibre.

Then, after some period of evaluation, if mailmanlists.net is working well then
Biblibre can migrate the current lists.koha-community.org lists+domain into
mailmanlists.net over whatever timescale is convenient. Once that's done then
the project can decide whether to replace [email protected] in with a new
list in lists.koha-community.org

Paul if that works for you, open a billing arrangement with mailmanlists.net
and send me some credentials, and I'll do the exports and DNS changes required.

Cheers
Simon
