I've not run Configure TTBOMK - isn't that part of the perl build process? I believe perl on that system is stock Apple Perl, installed before fink, but I'll now take this up with the server's sysadmin. It wasn't clear to me from that perlmacos page whether this is a known problem with 10.5 Apple Perl. > [...] You can feel as abandoned as you want to, but none of this is Koha's > problem. Yeah. Good luck with that. This lack of empathy is what I was referring to! When there is help, it's often been accompanied by this "none of this is Koha's problem" attitude and an inflexibility. The debugging offered has been mostly redundant (like confirmation it worked on 10.4) or misleading (like blaming HTML::Template::Expr which is no longer used) and while I thank everyone who tried, it wasn't what was actually asked of the Koha developers, which was to hold off TMPL_ELSIF in 3.0. I'm not asking people to do our job for us, just give requests a fair hearing and avoid making our job harder. Look at where we are: caught between a koha.org feature use problem, a H:T:P build problem and an Apple installation problem. I thought we'd get best cooperation from koha.org - but at least git means we can keep our own 3.0-releng branch for MacOS X 10.5 for now, even if all this is increasing our costs immensely and making software.coop's koha experience worse.
