Hello

We upgraded to 3.4 at the end of June. Yesterday I was doing some staff
training and noticed that if I issue a book to a patron and on the same day
renew it, the date keeps rolling forward instead of renewing to the same date.
For example, I issued a 1 week loan to a patron yesterday, original due date
25th July. I renewed it yesterday the first time, instead of the due date
remaining the 25th, it was now 1st August. Second time, 8th August. Third time
15th August.

Is there anything in the circ rules (or anywhere else for that matter!) to stop
this happening? If any of our students realise it will do this I can envisage
them renewing their items several times immediately to get longer loans before
other students can place holds.

Any help (as always) appreciated!

Lisa
