I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but perhaps you want to mark the
item as 'Withdrawn'? If so, after a search in the staff client, on the
details page, select the 'item' tab and you will see the 'Withdraw'
button. If you have data base access, set items.withdrawn = '1'.
