What version of 3.4 are you running? I think you are running into this bug here http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=6292 Which has one final patch awaiting signoff. Luckily today is Global bug squashing day http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/2011-09-02_Global_bug_squashing_day So hopefully someone will sign off the patch and we can get it pushed up and released in 3.4.5.
