R?sum? becomes raesumae ; espa?ol ?becomes espaanol. How does one get diacritics to display properly? Also being a cataloger I was trying to edit a record that had the bad diacritics and found that I do not know how to add diacritics to a record. I am used to a dropdown menu that lists/shows diacritics to insert. How does one add diacritics to a record? Everything went on well. However, If I do a title search for a book in the database I am getting the following: No results match your search for "kw,wrdl: Introduction to Software Engineering" in catalogue Is there something I should run to re-index the database? Hopefully this part will actually be helpful. :) If you google in extended ASCII chart, you'll find a tonne, including http://www.asciitable.com/ ??? ?? You can either cheat and copy and paste from the table OR you can learn the code + ALT key combinations. Bear in mind that you're not meant to use the numerals above qwerty but rather the number pad to the right. Some times you needs fidget with the numlock key.
