If you are coming from 2.2.x you will need to go 3.0.0 first, then you
can go to 3.6.x from there.

you will have some problems, a Koha-2 to Koha-3 update is not
straight-forward
only consider upgrading to the current stable version of Koha
(3.6) when you have successfully restored your existing version
