I'm hoping someone might have some ideas for us...
We've just lately been running into problems with database timeouts when
making changes to patron records. We did not run into this until just
recently, and I don't know what we may have changed to cause this.
The errors we receive are like the following:

and I was able to see at the database level locks on both the borrowers
table and the borrower_message_preferences table while at least one
transaction was being attempted.
Anyone have an idea of what might be going on?
