Hi Sandro, It really is not overly complicated. I am rather far from home right now, but I can give you some hints.
Download the latest koha version. After you extract it, there is an INSTALL.debian file. You can read that with cat INSTALL.debian. There are rather detailed installation instructions in that file. I recommend to print it out and read it carefully. It walks you through the whole process of installing, if you follow the instructions it will download a whole bunch of packages for you. And, Google is your friend, so is linuxquestions.org and this group. But do READ the installation instructions. (It is a library program after all :-) ) Marty ________________________________ From: Sander898 <scritt...@hotmail.it> To: koha@lists.katipo.co.nz Sent: Saturday, April 28, 2012 3:49:17 AM Subject: [Koha] Koha 3.8 on Debian Squeeze Hi everybody, i'm completely Newbie with koha, and i'm very little familiar with packeges and installation on linux SO also. I've installed Debian Squeeze (6.0.4-i386-xfce) and i'm wondering where can i find a step by step guide (with all packeges requires, apache, mysq, zebra and perl configuration) for the installation of Koha 3.8 on this operating system, all the guide that i've seen seems to be too generic, for my little knowledges. Sorry for my inexperience, and thank you for your patience and your support.
