Okay samuel here is what i use to do. this might help you if i havent made any
mistake understanding your question.
- using the csv/excel file do the marc mapping using the delimited text
translator. set the outpul file format to .mrk
- then using the marc maker tool convert your .mrk file to .mrc and then upload
it to koha.
hope it helps
regards

Subject: [Koha] import items
Hi!
On the road to koha, we have successfully import bibliographic
records and authorities. Now, we have to import items record and problems
begin .
In our ILS, items are in a separate table. As we have not many options for
export, i've tried to make a csv file and worked with marc edit (delimited text
translator).
I've followed the differents steps but i don't succeed to have a correct marc
file.
here is what i have for example
=LDR 00000nam a2200000Ia 45e0
=995 \\$x
=995 \\$f
=995 \\$o
=995 \\$n
=995 \\$v
=008 120910s9999\\\\xx\\\\\\\\\\\\000\0\und\d
=LDR 00000nam a2200000Ia 45e0
=995 \\$x
=995 \\$f
=995 \\$o
=995 \\$n
=995 \\$v
=008 120910s9999\\\\xx\\\\\\\\\\\\000\0\und\d
=LDR 00000nam a2200000Ia 45e0
=995 \\$x
=995 \\$f
=995 \\$o
=995 \\$n
=995 \\$v
=008
120910s9999\\\\xx\\\\\\\\\\\\000\0\und\d
=LDR 00000nam a2200000Ia 45e0
=995 \\$x
=995 \\$f
=995 \\$o
=995 \\$n
=995 \\$v
=008 120910s9999\\\\xx\\\\\\\\\\\\000\0\und\d
What i don't understand is i've good mapped my file but something miss.
Could someone light my way?
thank you
best regards
samuel
