Dear Ruth

What I am doing is using Microsoft Excel to Convert the database into MARC21
and then converting them to MRC format.

But when I have multiple copies, I am keeping the biblio records also; how
can I remove the biblio and keep the 952 records especially in MS Office
Excel.

Thanks and Regards

Dear Folks,

I have created a recorded and entered items details such as call number,
barcode and other information. My problem is that holding details in
cataloguing is not shown also in OPAC. I do not know if this question was
resolved earlier.

I also want to find those records with no items, is there a SQL command to
find and edit them.

Thanks in anticipation.

Dear Mr. Robin,

Can you share with us the step by step process of data migration of multiple
copies of single titles in MARC21.

The standard practice what I have done is to keep the biblio number same and
then changing the local field details in 952 and making sure that barcode
and copy number changed.

But not able to do the same and facing some problem.

Appreciate your suggestion and help.

Thanks and Regards

Hi,
Thanks very much for your interest a problem. I think abotu reserve from
details a specific copy.
I do somthing like this

<http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/file/n5729706/egz.jpg>

but Perl is not my strong side. I add to opac-detail.tt

<form action="/cgi-bin/koha/opac-reserve.pl" method="post"
id="hold-request-form">
 <input type="hidden" name="place_reserve" value="1"/>  <input type="hidden"
name="biblionumbers" id="biblionumbers"/>  <input type="hidden"
name="selecteditems" id="selections"/>  <input class="reserve_mode"
name="reserve_mode" type="hidden"
value="multi"/>
 <input class="single_bib" name="single_bib" type="hidden" value="[%
biblionumber %]"/> <input id="reqspecific_[% biblionumber %]"
class="selectspecific"
type="hidden" checked value="Specific" name="reqtype_[% biblionumber %]">
<input type="hidden"  class="checkitem checkitem_[% biblionumber %]"
name="checkitem_[% biblionumber %]" value="[% ITEM_RESULT.itemnumber %]" />
<input value="Place Hold" type="submit" class="placehold" /></form>

Maybe someone is able to help? thx

To find all bibs without items you can try this report from the SQL
Report Library:
http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/SQL_Reports_Library#All_bibs_without_ite
ms

If the items aren't showing, but the bibs are you might have
OPACHiddenItems
(http://manual.koha-community.org/3.8/en/administration.html#OpacHiddenItems
)
set to something that's hiding items or even hidelostitems set
(http://manual.koha-community.org/3.8/en/administration.html#hidelostitems).

Hope that helps some,
Nicole

The second question is "What is the exact
                 error message?"

The third question was "What version of Koha are you using?"
                 http://koha-community.org/faq/find-version-koha-running/

The fourth question is "Are we there yet?"

You can also, of course, have multiple 952 entries in the same biblio
record; each one giving the copy number and barcode of a different copy,
along with its' other details like branchcode and itype.
