Hi Marty,

it's totally possible and even not hard to do using jQuery, but there is a
problem with this idea you and the librarians using the search should be aware
of:

Bug 7607 - Advanced search: Index and search term don't match when leaving
fields empty
bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=7607

I asked several people to take a look at it and it's not an easy fix. What
would fix this and other problems is the search rewrite that still needs some
funding (http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/C_&_P_Search_Rewrite_RFC).

Hope that helps,

Katrin

Betreff: [Koha] Changing default focus from keyword to ISBN on staff searchpage

Hi all,

I had a question from my cataloger, whether it was possible to change the focus
of at least one of the buttons on the advanced search page (staff side) to
ISBN or barcode.

The idea is that one of the buttons will show ISBN when opening the page so it
saves her from scrolling down all the time.

I think it is possible, just not sure where to do this, so any help would be
appreciated!

Thanks,

Marty
