Hello Koha community,
our library use this rules for fines and circulation:

Circulation periods:
books period: 30 days with 2 renewals max journals period: 14 days with 2
renewals max

Fines:
1. fine after period, price A
2. fine 30th day after 1. fine, price B 3. fine 14th day after 2. fine,
price C (2x price B) 4. fine 14th day after 3. fine, price D (3x price B) 5.
next fines we count per day and item.

Is possible to set this rules in Koha? I think that standard Koha fines
aren't too complex for this setup. Has some library with similar rules? Is
here some solution?

Thanks for feedback.

Mike

This functionality does not exist in Koha presently.

Developing the functionality may not be trivial, but you if wish you could
raise an enhancement request here:

Dear Friends,

Recently I have installed Koha 3.12.01 Tarball on Ubuntu 12.04
After adding additional languages such as Armenian hy-Armn.

I added Armenian according to this documentation
http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Installation_of_additional_languages_for
_OPAC_and_INTRANET_staff_client

Can you help us to change our cataloguing module into Armenian
language

because KOHA have already translated in Armenian and some of our
librarians want to work using Armenian interface (Marc 21 in Armenian)

we can see OPAC in Armenian and also administration page, but we can't
see Armenian in cataloging module , especially fields . Please look at
attached file bellow

How can we solve this problem? Please answer because it is very important
for us

Best regards
Araik.

Has anyone had success using the label creator to print batches of spine
labels (1"x 1.5") using a Zebra printer (GX430t) attached to a Windows 7
desktop ? We're using the ZDesigner GX430t (EPL) driver. Koha version: is
3.10.09

Thanks,

Araik,
the attached file is missing, but I think you are referring to
the MARC frameworks

The problem is that what you see in the cataloging module are
values stored in the database, and they are not currently translated.

There are some efforts to add those strings to the translation
process, but they are not ready yet.

What I can do is build a custom made translation file
from the frameworks, but you need to translate it offline,
and there are a lot of strings, around 1600 counting biblios
and auth frameworks.

Regards,
Bernardo
