Why are there asterisks on your commands?
Are you following these instructions?

Did you mess up your sources.list file, instead of putting it in
sources.list.d/koha.list as recommended?
I have not had any problems with installation of packages under 32-bit or
64-bit, as long as I did not stray from the instructions.
Remember to do that "apt-get update" BEFORE the "apt-get install
koha-common". :) Hope this points you in a better direction.
