Yes.  One way to do it is to create brief, "dummy" item records during
import into the union catalog.  It would not be necessary to supply real
barcodes or call numbers, just the library that holdings the title.  That
way, it would be possible to do things like filter searches on holding
library without having to make special index customizations.
