(Sorry for the late reply.) I got one of those too, complete with NSFW pictures, so you're not alone Elaine. I've noticed an increase in spam lately on several of my e-mail accounts, and on medlib-l, the medical librarians' list. Apparently a lot of people with AOL accounts who access them via smartphone have had their address books hacked in recent weeks--I got two messages last week from hacked accounts. That's not what's going on here, but I'm afraid it's part of a wider trend.
