Would this affect the ability to use rss to subscribe to searches? That is
a feature that is well-used, but might be able to be replaced by the
ability to use email. (E.g., in Innovative catalogs, one can save a search
and then receive an email message when new material matching the search is
added to the catalog.)

One nice thing about rss, though, is that it doesn't require logging in
with an account--it's completely anonymous--one just copies the feed!

Of course, if this doesn't affect users' ability to use rss to subscribe to
searches, then, nevermind!:)

Cheerio!
