It's worth mentioning that the problem isn't with Zebra per se, but rather with how the query is being parsed before being sent to Zebra.
While I've outlined some ideas on how to fix the quotation problem, I haven't had time/energy/money to fix it. It's also worth mentioning that quotation marks aren't typically for an "exact" match, but rather for a "phrase" match, which the Advanced Search form already supports (without a need for quotation marks).
