Hie Zeno,

"koha-perldeps" is the name of the meta-package having all perl libs has dependancies.
You can install it even if you do not install "koha-common".

We use it to maintain our dev env.

Hie,

I'm so happy someone asks for developing with Eclipse.
At Biblibre, me and one colleague use it since many years.
But our desktop OS is Ubuntu.

I'd say install a virtualbox with a desktop Debian Wheezy.
You will be able to run Eclipse and install Koha dependancies by using
koha-perldeps from repository :
http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Koha_3.x_on_Debian_Squeeze

reading the docs i don't find the command 'koha-perldeps'.
Is it a special package on koha apt repo ?
Or is it a command available after installed the package 'koha-common' ?

Bye
Zeno
