Hello All,
Koha 3.20.3 suffers from UTF-8 Problems in some pages such as, When trying
to edit help in
Arabic interface
it shows garbage like this:
٠رØباً بك٠٠ي ÙƒÙiˆÙ‡Ø§
إذا كانت هذه هي ال٠رة الأولى
الأخرى ال٠وجودة ٠ي الإدارة.
Although it shows help good in Arabic when reading help.
Also when trying to import borrowers form tools > Import patrons
Default values like (Salutation:, Surname, ...etc) looks like (تØية:)
in Arabic interface, Although it's ok in Arabic interface columns.def file,
Also the same thing when trying to build new Guided reports from Guided
reports wizard.
Thanks

Did you try to add the following CSS code to Koha parameter
"OPACUserCSS" as I suggested on 8 September?
.no-image {
display: none !important;
}
Kind regards, Michael

Here is the AD bit from our koha-conf.xml:
> <ldapserver id="DC">
> <hostname>samba.domain.com</hostname>

> <email is="mail" ></email>
> <categorycode is="employeeType" >A</categorycode>
> <phone is="telephoneNumber"></phone>
> </mapping>
> </ldapserver>
Explained:
samba.domain.com is the name of our active directory, if you specify
that as hostname to bind to, koha will use (round robin) dns to connect
to all DC's. Gives you a nice load spread, plus if one DC happens to be
down, only some logons will fail.
(verify with "host samba.domain.com" reveral times in a row, it should
normally return different ip's, dependin on your number of dc's)
Base should be your users container.
Principal took me some time to understand:
<principal_name>%[email protected]</principal_name>
%s is replaced with a username, so in my example koha tries to bind as
[email protected]
I think the above explains it all?
