Hi there,

i have a question about the "independent branches"-feature. I activated
it straight after a clean install on a VPS for testing purposes and it
worked fine so far.

Please, which version of Koha did you install? The "Library Police" page that you cite below is somewhere between five and ten years out of date -- you may want to try <http://koha-community.org/documentation/>...

I have two users now, lets say anna and max. They both are staff at
different librarys (a and b).

If i login with one of them at the opac interface, searching for books
located at the library which is not their home-library, it's not shown.
Nice. But if i search for things at the koha-staff-interface, it also
shows the books located at the other libraries.

I found this site at Google:

http://librarypolice.com/wiki.koha.org/en:development:independentbranches.html

Regarding Independent Branches it says:

"Staff Client Catalog Search: By default, items from other locations
are displayed catalog searches."

But i don't get how to change this default behaviour?

Once again, now at Opac it seems they are all restricted to their
home-libraries, getting only results of their home-library.
At the staff-interface it shows all.

Thanks for help!

Sincerely,

Gregor Henker
