Daniel,

I think for LoC, you can only do one direct import at a time unless you order records through their record distribution service (which costs $).

Please correct me if I am wrong.

If you used OCLC, you could perhaps put together a file of LC records and do a mass import (setting holdings data before import). Otherwise, assuming LC has catalogued every item you have, you will need to do one search at a time - probably with the Z39.50 search tool.

Thoughts on this from anyone else?

Thanks,

Jesse

Hi,

I'm working on a restructuring of a small arts non-profit library. The
library currently uses an esoteric, confusing custom catalog numbering
system devised by a staff member who is no longer here.

We'd like to switch all our records over to LoC cataloging. We currently are
using Koha 3.18.05.100 - I'm curious if it's possible to replace all our
records with LoC records, in bulk, rather than editing each individually.

Thanks!
