The appropriate wiki link is https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Koha_on_ubuntu_-_packages the key is to make a note of this line - "These are the package installation instructions for Ubuntu. They have been tested using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS." as the first sentence in the Introduction section.
