Thank you! That didn't solve my problem exactly, but it did give me a workaround. I changed dateFormat to mm/dd/yyyy and now I can set the date. We were using yyyy-mm-dd before and I'm not sure why that doesn't work now, but the important thing is that we can set the due date again. The most popular item in our library is a test book that we make due the day after the exam, so being unable to set the date was a big problem.
Maybe next week I'll work on just why yyyy-mm-dd doesn't work, but it's not as urgent now.
