I decided to try installing koha 17.05 onto Debian (8.7). After adding
deb http://debian.koha-community.org/koha stable main
to sources.list and doing:
apt-get update
if I run "apt-cache show koha-common" it reports koha version 16.11.08.
Am I doing something wrong or is it simply that the debian packages haven't
yet been updated to 17.05? If so, what's the most straightforward way to
install it?
You will have to wait until the Debian packages for Koha 17.05 will
actually be released. This isn't the case at this time. I expect the
release of the packages to be announced in this mailing list.
