If the comma doesn´t do the trick, you might have a chat with your sysadmin, and make mail aliases in a local mail server, say "[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>" would resend its messages to "parentofthiskid@theirmailserver, otherparentofthiskid@theirothermailserver, thiskid@whenkidgetsanemail"
It´s not simple, but it may work for you. With postfix this could be done with alias tables, within a file or a database.
