Hi Sarah-- We also use Koha and WorldShare ILL. We have two streams depending on whether the library is borrowing or lending. For lending, the ILL person checks requests in WorldShare against our catalog. If the item is in the catalog and is available in Koha, we check the item out to an ILL account, then respond in WorldShare, and send the piece on its way to the requesting library. For items requested by our library patrons, the ILL person searches WorldShare and places a request. When that item comes to the library, it's received in WorldShare, then in Koha we create a brief record (usually author, title, call number OF ILL [YEAR] [MONTH], item type INTERLIBRARY LOAN. When we create the item record, we use the barcode from WorldShare. Then, the item is checked out to the patron. When the item is returned, staff checks it in in Koha, then marks the item withdrawn. Finally, the item is returned in WorldShare, and sent to its home library.
