Hi, Tami-- Your example is a properly formed Library of Congress topical heading in a 650 field, which is supposed to end with a mark of punctuation or a closing parenthesis--and the ending mark of punctuation is usually a period/full stop. Are you trying to identify records with such properly formatted headings? Or records that lack the ending mark of punctuation? Or accomplish something else?
Sorry if I've gone off on an Unnecessary Cataloger Tangent--just disregard me if I have! I do tend to do that!:) Cheerio! h2 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Heather Hernandez (she, her, hers) Technical Services Librarian San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park Research Center 2 Marina Blvd., Bldg.
