Exactly :)

Hi Katrin
Thanks for that.
So what you're saying is that we should open the MARC editor, set the values we
want for that material type in the leader, then copy the entire leader into
'Advanced constraints > Default value' for the leader in the new MARC
framework. Is that right?
With kind regards from the Dalton McCaughey Library Team

Subject: Re: [Koha] Editing MARC Frameworks
Hi Sally,
I usually use the default setting in the bibliographic frameworks as
suggested by Carlos.
I create a record setting the defaults I want using the plugin (for the
00x this refers to the pop-up window you get instead of entering the
values manually). Then I copy the value created and copy that into the
default setting. Be careful to include all leading spaces.
Hope this helps,
Katrin

Hi All, we are new to Koha, and have not been able to find an answer to this
problem...
We are trying to create MARC Frameworks for various record types, but cannot
work out how to set the Leader 06 (Type of material), 07 (Bib level) and 008
fields to correctly define the materials.
For example:
Visual Material [VM] for our 'Art' framework:
Leader position 06 = k
Leader position 07 = m
008 field = position 33 = art original = a
Continuing Resource CR for our 'Serials' framework:
Leader position 06 = a
Leader position 07 = s
008 field = position 21 = Periodical = p
Can these data elements be hard coded into a framework?
Thank you
Sally Stewart
