Since I don't know what instructions you followed, I can't be sure what
to answer.
However I'd recommend to choose Debian GNU/Linux as the operating
system, then follow https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Koha_on_Debian
for starters.
Unfortunately web access is a quite difficult business, so I won't go
into things like internal/external IP address, IP ranges, DNS, SSL
certificates, firewalling etc. However, basically, if you installed on a
host with the IP address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, then
* your Koha OPAC will be accessible via http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (or, in
fact, http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:80 )
* your Koha staff interface will be accessible via
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8080
