Hi, all! I manage a library which has a lot of East Asian books. We are applying the RDA cataloging standard, which specifies {dollar}1 when transcribing kanzi, kana, and hangul.
Most of our records are coded with [dollar]1, however, because I thought I recalled that even though {dollar}1 is the current cataloging standard, [dollar]1 is the Koha convention. Now, of course, a few records have turned up with {dollar}1. So which is it in Koha? brackets [dollar]1 braces {dollar}1 I'd like to know before I correct the wrong set of records. Many thanks, all! -- よろしくお願いします。 -- Charles.
