Hi,
depending a bit on the type of notice, you should be able to use TT to
resolve the code into the description of the authorised value. You can try:
At the top of your notice:
[%- USE AuthorisedValues -%]
In your text:
[% AuthorisedValues.GetByCode('bsort1', borrower.sort1) %]
