Hello,I just subscribed again to the Koha List. My name is Verónica Lencinas and I had been a subscriber a lot of years ago. I unsubscribed because I got too much mail in general and I was more active in the koha-es list. Koha is now again an important part of my professional life since I give support to fellow librarians in Koha and also offer support services in Argentina through my company Puntobiblio. Maybe someone remembers me from the 2014 KohaCon.As you surely know, in Argentina we are almost always in the middle of an economical crisis (with some notable exceptions), and as a government employee (I work at the National University of Cordoba) with meager retributions, second and third jobs are the norm. So, who am I, and what do I do for a living? I am a librarian, just a few months from retiring from my main job as a librarian at the astronomical observatory in Córdoba. I also work as a library science instructor at the Córdoba University, teaching cataloging (and the Koha cataloging module by the way), and actually I have also the responsibility for our library school as their director. In my spare time (insert laughing emoji here) I work as an executive director at Puntobiblio, offering technology-related services for libraries and archives. My biggest job was implementing Digibepé (that was Koha by another name), for the National Commission for Popular Libraries (Conabip) from 2009 to 2015. There we installed, migrated data and trained librarians of about 700 popular libraries in Argentina. At Puntobiblio we have about 80 libraries (school libraries, public and popular libraries, academic and specialized libraries, library networks, etc.) that trust us with their data, their questions, and their workflows. With this work I have discovered that offering technical support for my fellow librarians is a wonderful and fulfilling task where I also learn a lot.So in a few weeks I will have much more time for Koha and Puntobiblio.
