Aisha el-Zaben: First Martyr of Hunger Strike Nablus, Sunday Aug. 29/04 The mother of one of the Palestinian political prisoners held in Israeli jails, who herself had been on hunger strike since August 15, passed away. Aisha el-Zaben, the mother of prisoner Ammar el-Zaben, was 55 years old. Palestinian saying, "Here we shall stay. Do your worst! If we get thirsty, we'll squeeze the rocks.
