I'm not sure if that is any use for donors from outside Canada). Send cheques made out to the Mackenzie-Papineau Memorial Fund (Canadian Charity Registration no. 888769197RR0001), clearly stating "Cuba Hurricane Relief", together with your name, address and telephone number. Mail cheques to: Cuba Hurricane Fund, 56 Riverwood Terrace, Bolton, Ontario, L7E 1S4 CANADA. I believe donations not requiring a receipt can also be mailed there. My understanding is that the money will be sent to Cuba via ICAP. Laureano Cardoso, the Cuban Consul-General in Toronto, has agreed to be a media spokesperson for Cuba Hurricane Relief. Professor Keith Ellis authored a letter for the appeal, that was endorsed by the CNC's bi-annual convention here in Toronto last week, as well as the FT5-Tor.
