Confirmed: Bush Campaign
Doctored Latest Ad

President Bushes latest campaign ad, called "Whatever it Takes"
has been doctored. This has been confirmed by Bush's campaign
manager Ken Mehlman, who blames the doctoring on an "editing
error."

The ad features soldiers listening to President Bush make a
speech. Mehlman said it was doctored because "the presidential
podium blocks people, and that part of the podium was removed
and some pictures of additional soldiers were put back in."

The ad shows numerous soldiers more than once as they stand
in the crowd. The non-edited version will be aired from now on on
television. The Democrat campaign has pounced on the doctoring,
saying "Now we know why [it] is named 'Whatever It Takes'."
