Uppdrag:

Internetadress: http://www.lfv.se, Beskrivning: Background - Due to the
increase in traffic at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport the Bus Service discovered
a lack of resources. Instead of increasing the number of buses and
coordinators the Bus Service will choose to achieve efficiencies by more
efficient coordination and communication equipment. - Technical
Specification -Coordination - The coordinator is in need of a coordination
system for appoximately 25 buses, a system where assignments can be planned
both in real-time and in advance to achieve the best result. The system
shall be advanced with an option for computerized choice of missions but
also very user friendly. It shall also be able to receive answers from the
buses. The system shall have functions for supporting statistics and
invoicing. As a complement to the planning tool an ADS-B (Automatic Dependent
Surveillance Broadcast) position map over all buses and other ADS-B targets
shall be included in the system. - Communicati!
on - The communication system shall be based on the VDL Mode 4 concept. The
assigned missions shall be sent from the coordinator to the buses with the
VDL Mode 4 technique. Using INFO-B (Information Broadcast) as a transmitter
for the different parameters and together with selected data from the
coordinator enable assignments to be displayed on screen. - Bus
application - The bus shall be equipped with VDL Mode 4 transponder for
receiving assigned missions and transmitting answers to the coordinator and
subsystem. The same transponder shall also work with ADS-B position on
moving map and be compatible with at least GRAS (Ground Regional
Augmentation Service) as other VDL Mode 4 services. A display that shows
both ADS-B positions on moving map and the assignments on screen shall be
included. The computer and screen must cope with weather conditions such as
heat, cold and humidity. - Delivery time: November 2002, vrig information:
The tenderer shall be able to prove his possess!
ion of licence rights for the VDL Mode 4 technique.
