Sorry, I know I don't do any dev anymore, but I just wanted to voice
my objection to this....

Composite translucency != Kopete translucency. The reason this should
be kept is the exact same reason the psedo-translicency is kept in
Konsole. That is, you want the window *background* to be translucent,
not the text, so making the window translucent is useless (you can't
read the text well if you do that and have a dark BG).

This is not possible to do with KHTML and Kopete using the Composite
extention, at least not the way KHTML is architected now (there is no
way to selectivly compost the canvas, there is a patch for Konsole to
do this because it has it's own text canvas, but Kopete doesn't so it
is not easily done)

Is there a technical reason for removing this functionality, other
than the idea that Composite supplants it? Because it doesn't.
