JFYI I'm going to a meeting at FOSDEM this weekend to discuss future middleware - the next generation of KIMProxy, or it's mutant offspring sired on Galago if you prefer. The topic is realtime collaboration which is a catchall of IM, IM + Voice + Video and VoIP. If there's anything you want me to bring up, or if you want to contribute, tell me. Eva (OpenCDI), Fab Mous (KDE with VoIP interests) and myself are attending along with a bunch of guys from Telepathy and some others.
