In Kopete (tested using both the default Kopete and Enclosed styles), when a
status notification is displayed in the chat window, e.g. "Bob has left the
chat", the name (Bob) is taken from the contact's server-registered alias, even
if you have defined a custom name for the contact and configured Kopete to use
that name instead.
