Sorry for being out of combat last week. I was taking care of some health
issues I had (colon adenoma - ugly name indeed. It's a pre-cancerous polyp,
and was diagnosed as suffering of irritable bowel syndrome that made me
change some food habits)

According to Doc I could die from a cancer 5 years from now if I didn't remove
this damn thing. The removed tissue underwent biopsy so it could be
determined as being maling or benign, and waiting the results was a pain for
itself (it lasted one week before I got the paper and brought it to the
doctor). I had some complications after that (constant bleeding for some
days) and started to be depressive and think about what I should do before I
die (even if after the surgery the risk of dying from this is _really_
minimal. Can you believe I asked a friend to contact the Kopete team on irc
if I died and tell the full story? I was very disturbed by the idea of dying
young as you can see...).
I'm telling all this stuff to you because you deserve to know what's
happening, but I ask for your discretion, because spreading the word about it
could damage some employment contacts I currently have and some I can have in
the near future (getting a job is already difficult enough and employment
oportunities could be severely worsened if this information was released,
despite the fact I currently have _zero_ risk of being ill at all), and I
need a job badly (things are becoming a bit grim these days. If I vanish from
irc you can take for sure the power company did cut my power supply out of
unpaid bills).
Hey, I'm not asking for help, I'm pretty sure I can manage this situation and
work it out. Thank God I have a very supportive girlfriend that help me to
sort things out. ;), and currently I'm getting money here and there as a
freelancer consultant, I just don't have the previsible cash flow a job can
offer.
Everything is going to be all right. ;)
