I remember noticing this behaviour a while ago, that's why I added some votes
on this. Reproducing it was as simple as doing these steps:
- Close existing kopete
- Close all wallets
- Run kopete
- Instruct it to go online
- It asks for kwallet password
- Press cancel
Then "it" (I'm not sure if it was a kopete window or a kwallet/KDE/kdelib
window) issues 3 warning-notification windows with the same message and you
have to press OK in all of them (the only option is to press OK).
But since those days, I think I have upgraded a bunch of packages, including
kopete and KDE.
Now I am using kopete 0.12beta1 and have also tried 0.11.1-CVS (stable CVS
branch) checked out on 11/03/2006, and I think I cannot reproduce this bug
anymore. Now pressing cancel makes kopete prompt directly for the protocol
login password.
